Arms in Motion
About being momentarily lost in the joy of the dance
Arms in motion, twisting and twirling
Like intertwined serpents on the medical seal
Exotic, pulling hands and the body whirling
This is what it's like to really feel
The energy all around in the space, close
The energy you drink in for your dance
This, better than the doctor's dose
No matter, head back, eyes askance
Let your body succumb to the sounds
Of South America or the Arab lands
Hips swaying, they know no bounds
Feet moving, would be nice on the sands
Of faraway lands, let the dance transport
You to those other places, their mystique
Gives a momentary sense of support
To compensate for any lack in physique
But when music stops and the dance wanes
Worry not that the joyful magic has gone
For in the mind you still hear music's strains
Which hopefully put you somewhere yon
