Susie and Joey

A nonsensical alliterative romantic poem

Susie sniffed the smelling salts
And forgot fast her footing
Father forgave us all our faults
And we heard the horned owl hooting

Joey jostled and jumped from jail
The cops convened to catch him
In circuit court his capers curtail
So Susie sat in, supportive and slim
