Handling Anger

On not using profanity when angry

It's not like me to drop profanity
That we have this right of speech
To be heard above the insanity
Says we can use it; it's in our reach

But I prefer to use a decent tongue
Even when strong anger burns deep
I respect the company that I'm among
I bite my lip and tight my lips keep

Aptly chosen words are more respected
I use the epithets in silence, not aloud
I want the audience enrapt, connected
To win them over as I have avowed
