Going Green 1

A tree majestic grows from roots
Nourished as they send up shoots
The shoots become the trunks and branches
To decorate estates and ranches

Yes, some men have expunged the wood
Yet others plant for future good
For people like the nature 'round
So trees in gardens, parks abound

One cannot blanket criticize
That earth will meet a cruel demise
By hand of man; naiveté or malice
A landscaped home's a modest palace

So when you think of going green
Plant thee a tree, see what I mean
