Giving Thanks in America
It's nice to give thanks on this one day
But better to be thankful every minute
Our Land's Freedoms allow us to say
What we think and believe; with spirit
This is a land of plenty; a cornucopia
Awaits us at the Thanksgiving table
Ignore those with narrow minds; myopia
Who tell us that our greatness is a fable
Yes, we are imperfect, but our system
Was built by men of intense wisdom
Once we were called Columbia, the gem
So give thanks for the Nation we've become
