This week has been a detour
From my normal poetry, sure
Tweeting is taking all my time
Yes, I am keeping to the rhyme
In 140 characters or less
It's been difficult to express
What I feel must still be said
All the thoughts still in my head
With that said, alas, I did
Tweet poetically, I don't kid
On topics of marriage and love
And whatever I'm thinking of
So I will still be writing here
